What is “Stop a Data Centre™ ?
This is a collection of resources and tools that we have developed to help communities mobilize in their opposition to data centres that are imposing on their neighbourhoods.
Little Town Big Data provides the tools and the communities make their own voice heard. We do not provide personnel or push the opposition within communities – we simply provide the resources that help communities fast-track their processes.

Resources and Tools included with
“Stop a Data Centre”™
Step 1
“Stop a Data Centre”™ Community Support PDF
we encourage anyone interested in registering their community to begin by first reading this PDF package. Once you’re familiar with the general roadmap of resisting a data centre, then you will be ready to identify your community key-players and primary call to actions!
Step 2
Community Webpage
if your community is not already listed on our List of Community Pages, then you are free to create your own community listing. There is no fee or hidden charges – you simply provide the content for your community and we provide you with your own webpage link.
Having a community webpage helps you unify your call to action – it becomes a central landing page to share on social media and throughout your neighbourhoods.
Step 4
Social Media LTBD Community Page
Some communities choose to create a Little Town Big Data social media page that is specifically for their community. This allows for a certain level of anonymity and privacy for those who are administrating the account. These pages are created upon special request after a community page has been created.
